Dr. Pyae received his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma). He completed his internal medicine residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and then worked as a hospitalist for 9 years. Dr. Pyae is board certified in internal medicine and completed a fellowship in nephrology in 2022. Dr. Pyae chose to join the team at ANC because “they are a hard-working and very patient-focused team.” Outside of work, Dr. Pyae enjoys spending time with his wife and twin 8-year-old daughters, reading, watching movies, and playing guitar. Dr. Pyae speaks English and Burmese.
